My heart goes out to a dear friend and her family who lost her father last week. "To God we belong and to Him is our return." May I just ask my friends and family to spend a moment asking God to give my friend, her family and their friends peace in their hearts, lighten their grief and strength in the knowledge that their father, husband, brother, friend and all the facet of human connections he held for others on this earth, is safe and deeply held within the arms of God. I recently had the privilege to sit and converse with him at length. He was an extremely intelligent, charismatic, strong, humble and extraordinary man with a great sense of humour. Thank you God for the privilege of that encounter and exchange.
