Memory from Hatham (Um Younis)

We have lots of happy and fun memories of Amu (uncle) as children. We spent a lot of time around him. He was a loving man who always made jokes. He had a special affection for animals as well. He gave us 3 chicks as children which we loved and brought up into big chickens. The best thing about Amu was his sense of humour. One time we heard him on the Arabic radio show where he pranked the presenter and the guest a doctor. He began by saying he suffered from a disorder that all stemmed from being hit on the head by a clog. Then the doctor asked him what symptoms were. Amu spent a good few minutes explaining everything. We all listened with such concentration waiting to see where this was going. To cut a long story short he ended by asking the doctor if he hit his head again with the clog would he get better!!!! Everyone started laughing. That summed up Amu: he loved a good joke and was a great laugh.
